The Surfskate SMOOTHSTAR Toledo#77 THD 31″  is the signature model of 2022 World Champion Filipe Toledo and is designed to suit teenagers to adult surfers 5”4’ – 5”10’ (162cm – 177cm) in height.

This model is a smaller version of the 32.5” Toledo #77 and it offers smaller riders the opportunity to ride Filipe’s board.

The Surfskate SMOOTHSTAR Toledo#77 THD has medium wheels on both trucks which are suited to lighter riders.

Filipe loved the idea of a black simplistic design and we worked together on a mixture of black matt and black gloss that end up awesome.

Details
The Surfskate SMOOTHSTAR Toledo#77 THD 31″ is the newest SmoothStar model for our team rider and 2022 World Champion Filipe Toledo.
It is a smaller cut down version of his 32.5″ model that allows smaller and lighter riders to ride the #77 Toledo model.
The matt black deck with his #77 in gloss is what Filipe wanted.

Board setup
The 31″ Toledo Smoothstar model has a flatter concave compared with the 32.5″ model to provide a faster rail-to-rail sensation and is excellent to generate speed.
It has a wider kick tail so your toes don’t hand off the edge of the deck, to give the rider the ability to push harder off the back foot.

Thruster D Technology
This Pro model comes with the new SmoothStar Thruster D technology which is the latest in precision engineering by Smoothstar.
This high performance truck gives surfers the ultimate surf feeling with more hold and drive through your surf turns.
It’s also a lighter truck than before and comes with a 5 year warranty.

Why are there two sizes of the same model?

Filipe Toledo #77 range is one of the highest selling surf training boards in the world and we wanted to make it available for everyone.
31″ for larger groms, teens and less than average height adults.
32.5″ for above average height.
The 31″ Toledo model has medium wheels on the front and back of the board.

What is the difference between both models of the Surfskate SMOOTHSTAR Toledo#77 THD?

Apart from the outline shape of the board, there are almost no differences between these two models.
They have the same wheelbase and the same wheel thickness.
Both are suited to young teens to smaller height adults.
