The Surfskate SMOOTHSTAR Connor O’Leary THD 34″ is the signature model of World Top surfer Connor O’Leary.
It has a deep concave deck and is suited to tall – above 180 cm – surfers who wish to push hard through the rail. Connor O’Leary signature model also has other version, the model 31″ which dimensions will suit smaller adults or teenagers.

Connor O’Leary is a WSL world tour surfer born and raised in Cronulla (Sydney, Australia) that represents both Japan and Australia while competing.
Connor is 6″1, a goofy foot, and he is well known for throwing some serious sprays out of the waves.
Some top surfers consider him to have one of the best backhand surfing attacks in the world.
Everybody knows him for training and putting 110% in and out of the water.
He’s an all round nice guy and has plenty of availability for the fans, groms and big groms.

The Rising Sun
Connor’s boards have a ‘C’ and ‘O’ which are his initials. We surrounded these letters are by the Rising Sun which is symbolic of Connor’s Japanese heritage.
The 34″ model has a blue navy metallic finish that looks sensational and is guaranteed to turn heads.

What is the difference between the 34″ and 31″ Connor O’Leary models?

34″ model is based on the original Connor’s specs, that he rides most of the time. He wanted the concave and a larger wheelbase to fit his wider surf stance.
The smaller 31″ model has the same concept, but was designed for smaller adults and young groms that wish to ride Connor’s board but are smaller than him.
The 31″ version also has a flatter deck without deep concave.

Smoothstar Surfskates Story of SmoothStar Surf skates For more than 14 years SmoothStar has been known to Australian Surfers as one of the best surf training products, outside the water. However, unless you have tried a surfskate SmoothStar, it is very hard to understand why it feels so similar to surfing. Trucks from SmoothStar replicates the surf feel because the front truck has a special turning device called the SmoothStar Thruster. This Thruster makes the front of the board loose so the board can turn and drive off the back trucks – the same as you would with surfboard rails and fins… you get the feel is “rail-to-rail” surfing on land. SmoothStar surfskate Thruster invention is protected by patents. The turns are not sharp, floppy or stiff – they are “Smooth” but as radical as you want them to be and that is why we call it “SmoothStar”. About the SmoothStar Thruster Our Thruster is specifically positioned between the front trucks and the deck of the skateboard. The Thruster has a spring within the aluminium casing that provides resistance and reaction to the riders turning movement and wave. This spring enables the board to turn way beyond the ability of a normal skateboard. The combination of the springs tension and inside steel bearings enable for smooth transitions from rail to rail. This enables the rider to compress and push off each turn to generate speed and surf flow. Once the rider is pushing off from rail-to-rail, this creates a “self-propelling” motion, removing the need to push off the ground with the foot.
