You want a board that can handle everything on the dancing spectrum, from relaxed surf-style footwork and cruising to more technical freestyle tricks and combos. You like the comfortable and damp feel of a tailored flex board, appreciate a slightly longer deck for more foot space, and prefer more mild kicktail angles for that classic longboard-style leverage.

Longboard Skate Loaded Tarab FUNCTIONAL DESIGN

Rocker, concave, symmetrical shape, mellow kicktails, grab rails, and purposeful griptape combine to form an elegantly ergonomic platform for flowy footwork and the most frenetic freestyle dancing. Wheel wells are pre-milled into the core prior to pressing, allowing for increased wheel clearance while maintaining the strength and finish benefits of full composite construction.

LIGHT, DAMP, AND DURABLE

Bamboo and basalt construction keeps the Tarab II lightweight, lively, and durable. We relocated the vibration-damping cork to the bottom layer and added a bamboo top veneer for a slicker surface for pirouettes and other dancing moves. We added another layer of basalt reinforcement in the nose and tail for significantly improved wear resistance and even more pop. Stronger and better than ever.

Loaded Tarab VERSATILE VARIATIONS, Available in two distinct flexes.

Flex 1 features a thicker bamboo top veneer for added stiffness and damping. Flex 2 is slightly lighter and noticeably more lively. Both flexes feature two updated wheelbase options to accommodate a variety of riding preferences (the new outer setting is equivalent to the previous inner setting on the original Tarab).

SUPER SAP

Bio-based epoxy by Entropy Resins. Uses bio-based materials from industrial waste streams such as tree sap to replace petroleum content and reduce the carbon footprint of the epoxy from manufacturing. We’ve worked closely with Entropy to enhance every major performance characteristic of the resin. Better for the planet, even more fun.

GRAPHICS

We created the original Tarab’s graphics in collaboration with artist Will Scobie to convey the fluidity of longboard dancing and the euphoric experience defined in its namesake. Loaded ambassador and DockSession founder Lotfi Lamaali was heavily involved in the design and development of both iterations of the Tarab. For the Tarab II, we built upon the original graphic while further exploring the influence of Lotfi’s Moroccan cultural background.

HYBRID BOARDS

These kind of longboards combine elements of traditional skateboards and modern longboard design and construction. Hybrid boards provide the user with the ability to snap ollies or do other street-skating tricks. They also provide a longer wheelbase to make commuting and standing on board more comfortable. DANCING BOARDS

Dancing longboards feature a spacious standing platform and longer length to give the rider maximum space for doing fancy foot work maneuvers. Though most larger sized longboards can feel heavy and cumbersome, the Loaded Bhangra and Loaded Tarab are designed to give you an agile ride and unique riding experience thanks to their different flex patterns. CARVING BOARDS

Carving boards are designed with flex in mind. Using unique concaves and outline shapes, these boards offer the rider a high performance ride. This characteristic makes every trip to the store or around your neighborhood an adventure. The Loaded lineup offers two different types of carving boards. Top-Mounted carving boards offer a blend of traditional longboards and high performance flex patterns usually found in snowboards. A top mounted carving board provides the user with responsive turning and a spacious standing platform to move around on. Drop-Thru Carving boards are designed to give the user the most comfortable and efficient ride for pushing and commuting. Sharing many similarities in performance to the top-mounted carving boards, drop-thru carving boards differ by being significantly lower to the ground. This will allow to reduce ride height and fatigue from pushing. Loaded Icarus, Dervish Sama and Tan Tien all feature drop-thru mounting. DOWNHILL / FREERIDE BOARDS

The Downhill/Freeride Boards are designed to be stable and safe at high speeds. Compared to the rest of the Loaded lineup, these boards focus on being stiff and keeping the user glued to the top of the board. All of the boards are top mounted for ideal leverage and control, but also feature a rockered platform to keep you slightly lower to the ground and craddled. Wheel flares to fit larger wheels and give you a reference point for your feet, and W concave that provides a lump running through the center of the board to aid in slide control. Our Tesseract family, which include the Cantellated and Truncated versions, as well as the Loaded Chubby Unicorn BloodSlayer are the ideal boards for experimenting with going fast and busting out big slides.
