ARBOR CERTIFIED COMPLETE SKATEBOARDS – Certified Arbor Complete skateboards are fully assembled skateboards that are built using select, high-end components that complement the performance and geometry of each of our shapes. Each package takes into consideration all aspects of shape : the angle, geometry, and size of the trucks; the size, shape, and diameter of the wheels, the hardness and rebound of the bushings; the placement of wheel wells. When buying an Arbor longboard, cruiser or street skate, look for the symbol, and insist that your complete comes with components approved by Arbor Skateboards.
The Arbor Skateboards Story
Arbor was founded in 1995 to focus on the environment in the construction of the most mindfully crafted snowboards possible. For 24 years, we have used sustainable forest products to achieve this objective. Along the way, we select the most responsible processes and components possible.
Since day one, we have used proceeds from the sale of our line to fund the preservation of indigenous forests – giving back much more than we responsibly take out.

Arbor Skateboards Sustainability Cycle
Our Step-by-Step process to create sustainable Skateboards.
Highly Renewable Woods
STEP 1
We work with a wide range of fast growing, highly renewable wood and bamboo materials obtained from well-managed forests and other sustainable, non-native sources of supply.
Forest Stewardship Council
STEP 2
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) has certified that the wood and bamboo materials used in our snowboards, including all cores, are derived from responsibly managed forests.
Less is More
STEP 3
Every forest product we use is processed with modern methods that stretch the material. By maximizing these resources, we minimize our impact on the planet. Less is always more.
Wood & Bamboo Plies
STEP 4
During construction, our wood & bamboo Powerply tops become a structural layer. The natural fibers enhance pop and durability, while reducing our reliance on non-biodegradable fiberglass.
Wood Reclamation
STEP 5
All wood by-product created during the production of our skateboards is reclaimed for use in other Arbor products or by outside companies, reducing the strain on landfills and forests.
Recycled Glass Grit
STEP 6
Our re-grit is made from recycled crushed glass. This ultra clear re-grit surface allows the decks natural grain to remain highly visible, while providing better performance than silica bead alternatives.
Sucrose Initiative
STEP 7
Our Sucrose Initiative Wheels are made in part from a sugar-based curative, reducing our reliance in petroleum, while adding to the performance and durability of the wheel.
Returning Roots
STEP 8
We donate a portion of every sale to the restoration of Hawaii’s Koa Forests, giving back to the planet and the people that gave us the surf based pursuits we love – swell, sidewalk, and snow.
