Surfskate YOW Doppler Snappers 32.5″ is one of the most technical boards YOW have ever made and one of the go-to boards according to all our riders.
The Doppler capsule design explores the singularities of space and time through the interpretation of the Doppler effect by the eyes of Julia Schimautz.
Julia, a Berlin-based Austrian graphic designer and printmaker is one of the most important names in the new wave of risography artists.
The graphic is an ode to imperfection: in order to preserve the feeling and aesthetics of risography prints we did not correct any of the print’s imperfections.
As a result, the capsule presents a series of little details like printing marks and incomplete prints that give each item an authentic human touch.
The board features one of the deepest concaves on the market, which, alongside the wide nose and tail shape, will keep your feet glued to the board at all times.
Its short wheelbase (17”) allows you to make deeper and sharper turns.
It is mounted with the Meraki (S5) system and 66x51mm 76A (soft) wheels for top precision.
