The aspect ratio is also a fundamental part of the stab design and changing it undoubtedly influences the behavior of the entire foil.

Simply changing a stab, while keeping the same front wing, can boost your ride and bring about completely different sensations and performances, as if you were on an entirely different setup.

For example, beginners in wing foil will want to look at the C275 or R275 stabs (AR 5.3), which will be a bit slower but more stable, before moving on to the C250 range and its 6.1 AR. Then, with its 8.8 AR and incredibly thin profile, the DW210 is truly made for speed and downwind.

CARBON – HM

The High Modulus Carbon fiber layup is 1.5x stiffer than the regular carbon fiber used in other constructions. The percentage of high modulus fiber has been carefully adjusted to obtain the best stiffness in both bending and torsion while keeping enough comfort for any kind of practice.

Stabilizer C250 SURF HM

The surface and shape of the C250 SURF HM stabilizer have been thought out to best deploy the power and ability of the PHANTOM CARBON S range and the PHANTOM CARBON 980 and 1080. Sharp and precise, it allows you to gain speed. Connecting waves has never been easier.

Stabilizer C250 Fence HM

The C250 FENCE HM stabilizer has been specifically designed to enhance maneuverability through the addition of fences on the wingtips. This stab is also incredibly stable while navigating with a wing or yawing.

Stabilizer DW210 HM

CARBON – PRE PREG TECHNOLOGY

Pre-preg makes the foils stiffer and stronger. With pre-preg fabrics, the carbon fiber is directly impregnated with epoxy resin by its manufacturer. This guarantees a perfect ratio between epoxy and carbon and represents the highest quality process. It is then cured at high temperature, bringing strength and durability.

Quality control is much better and so is the working environment for the people building our foils. Pre-preg fabrics offer the lightest weight with the best mechanical properties of carbon fiber.

Stabilizer C220 SURF

This stab is the correct fit for the MIRAGE CARBON front wings.

Fast and agile, the C220 SURF stabilizer provides a fantastic glide and a lot of freedom when riding.

Designed with a high aspect ratio and thin profile, the C220 SURF stabilizer provides a friction-free feel when riding and allows for nice accelerations. Constant balance (front/back) is maintained at all speeds, which always means more control.

Stabilizer C275 SURF

The C275 SURF stab is specifically designed for carving and pumping. Its flatter arch shape delivers high efficiency while pumping to connect more waves. Its shape and smaller area ensure sharp turns and more speed with a very loose feeling, closer to that of a shortboard. It is a high-performance stab that suits the GRAVITY CARBON range as well as the PHANTOM CARBON 1280, 1480 and 1780.

RTM

RTM Technology stands for Resin Transfer Molding. This process uses a closed mold to produce accurate composite parts. The resin is injected in the mold after it is closed, with the dry fiber having been placed inside beforehand. The closed mold injection allows for great shape accuracy. In addition, the epoxy resin used makes the fins or stabs stronger and more responsive, thus providing a sharper feel on the water.

STAB R275 SURF

The R275 SURF stab is specifically designed for carving and pumping. Its flatter arch shape delivers high efficiency while pumping to connect more waves. Its shape and smaller area ensure sharp turns and more speed with a very loose feeling, closer to that of a shortboard. It is a high-performance stab that suits the PHANTOM FCT wings.

IC6 INJECTED CARBON

The IC6 Technology consists of an injected polymer reinforced with carbon fibers. This material is very strong and shows some impressive mechanical properties making it particularly suited for parts subjected to high stresses and bending loads. This technology offers great resistance and stiffness with extreme durability.

Stabilizer IC6 300

Versatile and progressive, the IC6 300 stabilizer is the perfect match for the IC6 950 and GRAVITY FCT front wings. Equipped with generous winglets, this stabilizer offers fantastic control with enough surface area that will help you feel fully confident in all situations.
